DropFunnels vs GetResponse: Overview
|Speed and Performance:|
DropFunnels vs GetResponse: Features
DropFunnels does not include an autoresponder. But you can integrate it with the top email marketing providers (ActiveCampaign, AWeber, etc.
GetResponse does include the ability for you to create autoresponders. So, there’s no need to integrate it with another provider.
When it comes to features, you need to consider that DropFunnels’ primary function is to combine sales funnels with the WordPress platform. GetResponse is much more of an overall marketing solution where you get sales funnels, email marketing, landing pages, opt-in forms, and other marketing automation.
So, for features GetResponse is the winner.
DropFunnels vs GetResponse: Onboarding
The signup process is very easy with both DropFunnels and GetResponse. However, with DropFunnels, they request that you watch their onboarding video or webinar before starting out. While you might be anxious to just get going right away, the onboarding process does help to get you more familiar with the DropFunnels environment and I found it very helpful.
With GetResponse, the onboarding process was easy and I was able to get started right away. You also can view tutorials and they provide 24/7 support.
Because of the extra attention to the onboarding process, DropFunnels gets a slight advantage here.
DropFunnels vs GetResponse: User Dashboard Interface
Since DropFunnels is built on WordPress, if you’re already a WordPress user, you’ll be comfortable working within the DropFunnels interface as it’s similar to native WordPress. Even if you’re not a WordPress user, the dashboard in DropFunnels is very intuitive and easy to use.
GetResponse also has a very easy to use interface along with access to online help. By accessing the menu button, you get one-click access to your email autoresponder, landing pages, funnels, and other marketing items.
Since both DropFunnels and GetResponse get high marks for their dashboard interfaces, I’ll have to call it a tie in this category.
DropFunnels vs GetResponse: Creating a Funnel
With DropFunnels, you add sales funnels similar to the way you add pages and posts in WordPress—although it’s actually even easier. You can create a funnel using one of their page templates and then add each additional step manually, or you can start with a fully built funnel that already has all the steps built in then you can just go in add customize it.
And, if you’re currently a ClickFunnels user, you’ll be please to know that you can actually import your ClickFunnels funnels directly into DropFunnels. You may need to adjust or re-add certain elements that don’t transfer over, but on the whole, DropFunnels does a good job importing.
With GetResponse, you use their Conversion Funnel feature to create your sales funnels. It’s an easy process that guides you through building your funnel. You don’t get as many templates or options as you do in DropFunnels, but you can definitely create the basic types of funnels you need for lead generation, sales, etc.
Because you get more options in DropFunnels and the ability to use share funnels, they are the winner in this category.
DropFunnels vs GetResponse: Performance
The software for both DropFunnels and GetResponse performs smoothly. The drag and drop editors work well and your funnels are generated quickly.
However, in our testing of webpage speed for funnels from DropFunnels and GetResponse, DropFunnels performed faster.
So, while I will say that for me both DropFunnels and GetResponse perform well on both the front and back ends, DropFunnels is the winner in this category also.
DropFunnels vs GetResponse: Customer Support
DropFunnels provides support via Facebook Groups and support tickets. Currently, there is no live chat. However, I can confirm that when you post a question in the Facebook group you get an almost immediate response. DropFunnels does give you access to their knowledgebase. However, I was sometimes not able to find what I was searching for there. With DropFunnels, you either want to post in the Facebook group or submit a support ticket.
GetResponse provides 24/7 live chat support as well as support via email. I am highly impressed with the support agents at GetResponse. The response times are great and they are very helpful and courteous.
In this category, GetResponse is the winner.
DropFunnels vs GetResponse: Value
When it comes to value, I would put GetResponse ahead of DropFunnels.
While DropFunnels provides you WordPress functionality, they don’t include email autoresponder or eCommerce functionality. It also doesn’t include a lot of custom reporting that I’d like to see.
With GetResponse, you get a complete digital marketing solution package that includes email marketing, sales funnels, landing pages, signup forms, eCommerce tools, webinars, advertising tools, etc. And, you get all of it for a lower price than DropFunnels.
Therefore, GetResponse is also the winner in this category.
DropFunnels vs GetResponse: Recommendation
This sales funnel software comparison is very close. My recommendation really depends on what exactly your requirements are and what you need to accomplish with the software.
If you currently already have an email autoresponder service that you’re using and really need the better solution for creating sales funnels, and would also like the ability to add WordPress functionality to your online marketing, then I would definitely recommend DropFunnels.
On the other hand, if you’re starting out and looking for a more all-inclusive marketing tool, then I would recommend you consider GetResponse. With GetResponse, you get email autoresponders, landing pages, sales funnels, and other marketing automation. You can also try out GetResponse completely free for a full 30 days.
